Great Mosque of Hohhot

The mosque was constructed in 1693 by Hui merchants who came to Mongolia to sell their wares. It was then renovated in 1789 and 1923.

Menutupi area seluas 4,000 meter persegi, the mosque was designed with the Chinese and Arabic architecture. It has one minaret with a height of 15 meters and a public bath. It was built with black bricks which is typical of imperial China mosques.
