Luoyang Dongguan mosque, located in the middle of Dongguan Street Chanhe Hui District, Luoyang city, is an early mosque in the central plains and was once the seat of the first Iraqi association in Luoyang. The mosque was first built in the Ming dynasty and expanded again during the Emperor Qianlong period of the Qing dynasty. Now, it is not only a place for local Muslim to conduct religious activities but also the center of all Muslim social activities, such as learning, communication and sports.
