Zhengzhou Beida Mosque

Zhengzhou Beida Mosque is the first and largest masque in Zhengzhou. It was first built in the late of Yuan Dynasty(1271-1368).

The major constructions are the main gate, moon building, main hall, side hall, south and north teaching rooms, bath house, funeral house and other facilities. The prayer hall is 10 meters high and covers an area of 423 metrekare. It is consisted by four small halls, namely, Juanpeng, front hall, back hall and Houjiao. It can hold about 500 people to do prayer. The moon building is about 10 meters high and covers an area of 49 metrekare. It is a two-floor rectangle building with Islamic architectural style.
