I had a most memorable tour of Beijing and the Great Wall recently. I had a personal guide with me all the way who spoke excellent English, had an excellent knowledge of all the sites we visited and more importantly had a local perspective. It gave me a real down to earth experience of what it would have been like to experience these places as a Chinese living here. I sprained my ankle early during our walk from Simatai to Jingshaling but with the help of Johan and some locals I made it to the end of our 10km walk. It is an experience I will truly remember for many years to come! Thank you to IslamiChina for all the arrangements and transportation which was very smooth and without any fuss.
