Embark on a captivating day trip from Xiamen to discover the unique and historic Tulou villages of Fujian Province. After a comfortable 2.5 to 3-hour drive from Xiamen to Nanjing County, arrive at the Tianluokeng Tulou Cluster, a UNESCO World Heritage site. This remarkable cluster features one square building, three circular buildings, and one oval building, earning its famous nickname “Four Dishes and One Soup.” Continue your journey to Bâtiment Yuchang, one of the oldest and largest round tulous in Fujian, dating back to around 1368. Admire its distinctive architecture, including the tilted pillars that lend it a charmingly “rickety” appearance. Enfin, explore Village de Taxia, a picturesque Hakka settlement renowned for its well-preserved traditional buildings and peaceful ambiance.
