Unwind at your hotel until noon. After prayer in your room, proceed to enjoy a delicious Halal lunch. Puis, immerse yourself in Xi’an’s rich history by starting your exploration at the Shaanxi History Museum Qin-Han Division. This museum showcases the remarkable period from 221 BC, when China saw its first unification under the Qin Dynasty, to the Silk Road’s establishment during the subsequent Han Dynasty. Prepare to be amazed by the museum’s collection of 1,500 artifacts from this era, including an exhibition dedicated to the Silk Road. Ensuite, take a leisurely walk on the Muraille de la ville de Xi’an, la plus ancienne et la mieux conservée muraille de Chine. Walking atop the Wall to get the panorama of Xian skyline.
Please note that the Shaanxi History Museum Qin-Han Division is closed on Tuesdays. If your tour falls on a Tuesday, we will substitute a visit to the Han Yangling Mausoleum. The entrance fee (CNY70) for the Han Yangling Mausoleum is not included in the tour price and will be payable by you directly.
Han Yangling Mausoleum is a significant archaeological site in Xi’an, serving as the final resting place for Emperor Jing of the Western Han Dynasty (206 BCE – 9 CE) who ruled China from 157 à 141 BC. The mausoleum complex covers a vast area and offers a glimpse into the grandeur and burial practices of ancient China. Key features and highlights of the Han Yangling Mausoleum include:
Massive burial mounds: The central feature is the two large burial mounds, one for the emperor and the other for the empress. These mounds are surrounded by a complex of smaller burial pits containing thousands of terracotta figures, chariots, and artifacts.
Underground museum: Visitors can explore an underground museum that showcases the excavated burial pits and their contents. The museum offers a unique perspective on the ancient burial customs and the daily life of the Han Dynasty imperial court
Terracotta figures: The mausoleum is renowned for its collection of terracotta figures, which depict a wide range of people, animals, and objects. These figures provide valuable insights into the social structure, military practices, and artistic traditions of the Han Dynasty.

Gear up for an epic adventure with a 1.5-hour drive to Mount Huashan. Famed as China’s most precipitous mountain, Huashan boasts sheer cliffs, rugged terrain, and a hair-raising path that winds up 2,000 pieds. As one of China’s five sacred Taoist mountains, Huashan is steeped in legend. Whispers of gods performing magic, emperors offering worship, and Taoist forefathers leaving their spiritual mark echo through the ages. Soar to the West Peak by cable car and explore a Taoist temple nestled amongst the dramatic cliffs. Ascend to the mighty South Peak, Huashan’s highest point. Puis, conquer the heart-pounding “Plank Walk in the Sky” – a true test of your bravery and a contender for the world’s most dangerous hike.
