Jour 2 Bullet Train to Fenghuang, Explore Fenghuang Ancient Town

After breakfast, set off on a scenic 2.5-hour bullet train ride to Fenghuang, a cultural mosaic inhabited by the Tujia and Miao ethnic minorities. Their charming wooden stilt houses perch gracefully along the riverbanks, painting a stunning and timeless scene. After lunch, unwind at your hotel before beginning your exploration of Fenghuang Ancient Town. Ascend the Rainbow Bridge to take in sweeping views of this historic gem. As dusk settles in, drift along the gentle currents of the Tuojiang River on a tranquil boat ride, gliding past ancient city walls and the famed Jumping Rock Bridge and Rainbow Bridge.
Jour 3 Transfer to Furong, Explore Furong Town, Transfer to Zhangjiajie City

Embark on a 1.5-hour journey to the captivating town of Furong, home to the ethnic Tujia people with a history of over 2,000 ans. At its heart lies a breathtaking two-tiered waterfall that thunders through the town and into the Youshui River below. Venture behind the shimmering veil of falling water and feel the raw energy of nature up close for a truly immersive experience. Later, enjoy a serene cruise along the Youshui River before continuing with a 2.5-hour drive to the city of Zhangjiajie. As evening blankets the city, step into a mesmerizing world at the 72 Tujia Stilted Buildings (72 Qilou). Recognized by Guinness World Records as the tallest structure of its kind, this architectural marvel dazzles after dark, glowing with vibrant lights, live performances, and the rich cultural rhythms of the Tujia people.

Jour 4 Explore Tianmen Mountain, Transfer to Wulingyuan Scenic Area

Prepare for an awe-inspiring ascent up the majestic Tianmen Mountain as you embark on a ride aboard the world’s longest cable car. From the summit, marvel at the unparalleled panoramic views of the vast expanse of Tianmen Mountain. Explore the Cliff Hanging Walkway, perched on a cliff over 1,400 meters high, including a section known a heart-pounding section known as the Sky Walk, a glass-bottomed pathway that offers an exhilarating sense of walking on air. Journey down to Tianmen Gate, the colossal natural arch that gives the mountain its name, via a series of unique transmountain escalators. From there, another cable car will whisk you away, followed by a shuttle bus ride down the famous 99-Bend Road, a dramatic serpentine path that winds its way back to the cable car station. Continue with a relaxing boat ride on Baofeng Lake. Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere as you cruise through the crystal-clear waters, taking in the stunning scenery. Transfer to hotel after a visit to a herbal factory.
Jour 5 Explore the Wonders of UNESCO listed Zhangjiajie National Forest Park

Ascend to the peak of Tianzi Mountain via the Tianzi Mountain Cableway. Discover the enchanting trails that meander across the mountain, admiring the unique rock formations of Fairy Bouquet Peak and Royal Pen Peak. Suivant, board a shuttle bus to Yuanjiajie Scenic Area. Explore the scenic trails that wind through Yuanjiajie, admiring the Enchating Platform and the iconic Avatar Mountain, the inspiration for the floating mountains of Pandora in the movie “Avatar.” Get down the mountain by Bailong Elevator, the world’s highest outdoor sightseeing elevator. Take a scenic mini-train ride through the Ten Mile Gallery, marveling at the extraordinary rock formations that line the valley. Conclude your day with a leisurely stroll along the tranquil Golden Whip Stream, a pristine waterway renowned for its clear waters and serene surroundings.

Suspended a staggering 300 mètres (984 pieds) above the canyon floor and stretching an impressive 430 mètres (1,410 pieds) in length, this engineering marvel holds the distinction of being the world’s longest and highest glass-bottomed bridge. Suivant, set off on a 4-hour drive to Changsha with a stop at Changde Mosque. Enjoy a vibrant shopping experience at Huangxing Pedestrian Street, a bustling hub perfect for last-minute souvenirs.
