Your journey commences at Place Tiananmen, the world’s largest public space. Witness iconic landmarks such as the Gate of Heavenly Peace, where Chairman Mao proclaimed the founding of the People’s Republic of China in 1949, as well as the Monument to the People’s Heroes and the Great Hall of the People. A leisurely stroll leads you to the Cité Interdite, now known as the Imperial Palace Museum. The Forbidden City used to home for 24 Chinese Ming and Qing Dynasty emperors. The last emperor, Puyi lived in the Forbidden City till 1924. After savoring a Halal lunch, embark on a visit to the Great Wall of China. Construction of the great wall continued up to the Ming dynasty (1368–1644), when the Great Wall became the world’s largest military structure.
