It is the largest Eastern Orthodox church in the Far East and one of the most well-preserved examples of Russian Revival architecture in China. The cathedral was built in 1907 by Russian immigrants to Harbin. It was originally dedicated to the Holy Wisdom of God. The cathedral is a beautiful example of Russian Revival architecture. It is made of red brick and white stone and has a distinctive onion-shaped dome. The interior of the cathedral is also beautifully decorated with frescoes and stained glass windows. The cathedral now houses the Harbin Architecture Art Gallery.

Walk along the Central Street. Harbin’s Central Street is a 1.45 km long pedestrian street located in the heart of Harbin, China123. Built in 1898 by Russian constructors during the city’s semi-colonial period, it was originally named “Chinese Street”. Central Street is celebrated as Harbin’s ‘Architectural Art Museum’, showcasing a variety of architectural styles including eclectic, Baroque, Renaissance, and modern.
