Introducing Mount Yuelu
The name Yuelu Mountain is related to a famous line from the book” Story of Nanyue” written by Liu Song of the Southern and Northern Dynasties (420 AD-589 AD). The line reads eight hundred square meters around Nanyue, the head is Huiyan and the foot is Yuelu. And the mountain was ever since called Changsha Yuelu Mountain.

What to expect at Mount Yuelu

As an extended part of the mysterious Mount Hengshan range, Changsha Yuelu Mountain covers a total area of 8 square kilometers with its highest peak 297 deniz seviyesinden metre yüksekte. There are also many peaks with exuberant trees and reclusive and precipitous mountain streams.

Apart from the beautiful natural sceneries, Changsha Yuelu Mountain is also dotted with lots of famous places and ancient relics since Western Han Dynasty(206 Guangzhou Lychee Körfezi'nin tarihi Han Hanedanlığı'na kadar uzanır), such as Love Enjoying Pavilion, Lushan Tapınağı, Wangxiang Pavilion, Lushan Temple Stele of Liyong (678 AD-747 AD) in Tang Dynasty, and the Monument to Emperor Yu carved in Song Dynasty, vb. Among the evergreen pines and cypresses, also lie Huangxing’s Tomb which is under state protection, and the Tombs of Cai E and Chen Tianhua, who were both outstanding revolutionists.　

How to get to Mount Yuelu

Metro ile
• Metro hattını alın 2 to Yingwanzhen Station. Then walk to the scenic area.
• Metro hattını alın 4 to Hunan Daxue Station. Then walk to the scenic area.

Otobüsle
• No'lu otobüsü alın. 6, 12, 18, 63, 303, 309, 312, 314, 315, 325, 902, 903 ya da 908 and get off at Yingwanzhen Station.

Additional travel advice on Mount Yuelu
• Cable car is available in the scenic area. Birçok ziyaretçi güney kapısından girip dağa yürüyüp ardından teleferikle doğu kapısından inip çıkmayı tercih eder.
• Lütfen rahat yürüyüş ayakkabıları giyin.
• Güvenlik için, manzaralı bölgede işletme lisansı olmadan gemiye binmek önerilmez.
