Zigong Dinozor Müzesi, Sichuan'ın kuzeydoğusundaki Zigong'da yer almaktadır, şehir merkezine 9 km uzaklıktadır. Zigong Dinozor Müzesi, dünya çapında tanınan Dashanpu Dinozor Fosil Alanı üzerine inşa edilmiş büyük ölçekli bir saha müzesidir ve aynı zamanda dünyanın ilk özel dinozor müzesi ile üç büyük dinozor müzesinden biridir.

Zigong Dinozor Müzesi, 66,000 m2'den fazla bir alanı kaplamaktadır, fosil koleksiyonu, Jura Dönemi'nin bilinen tüm dinozor türlerini kapsamaktadır. Zigong Dinosaur Museum is evaluated by the American magazine Global Geography as the Best Dinosaur Museum in the World.

Zigong Dinosaur Museum is also the first professional dinosaur museum in China and one of the three largest dinosaur museums with burial site in the world.

Landscape
Zigong Dinosaur Museum is not only famous for its unique geologic burial site, but also well-known for the scenic beauty. Many living fossils of the age of dinosaurs, as cycads, gingkoes and cyathea spinulosa as well as some modern angiosperms are planted in the park.

Geologic Selection
Located in Dashanpu New Dinosaur Burial Site, this section belongs to the Middle Jurassic Xiashaximiao Formation.

Dinosaur Garden
These displayed dinosaur living scenes are made through the utilization of modern high-mimic techniques.

Entertainments
Various entertainment activities are provided for visitors including dinosaur rubbing, image composition, 4D cinema, and exhibits for touching dinosaur bone fossils.

How to get to Zigong Dinosaur Museum

From Zigong
• No'lu otobüsü alın. 3, 7, 15, 35 ya da 306 to the museum.

From Chengdu
• Take a direct from Chengdu Xinnanmen Bus Station or East Railway Station Bus Station to the museum.
• Take a bus from Chengdu Bus Station, or Airport Bus Station to Zigong City first. Then take a local bus to the museum.
