Introducing Splendid China
Splendid China Folk Village is a theme park including two areas, Muhteşem Çin Minyatür Parkı ve Çin Halk Kültürü Köyü. The park’s theme reflects the history, kültür, sanat, antika mimari, customs and habits of various nationalities. Üzerinde 100 major tourist attractions have been miniaturized and laid out according to the map of China. Most attractions have been reduced on a scale of 1:15. It is one of the world’s largest scenery parks in the amount of scenarios reproduced.

What to expect at Splendid China

Splendid China is a miniature park with Water-Sprinkling Festival which is the most solemn festival for ethnic group Dai. Splendid China has the biggest influence among ethnic minorities in Yunnan province with the largest number of participates. The Water-Sprinkling Festival of Splendid China is a large-scale participating project based on Dai folk culture .Splendid China not only retains the custom of Dai Water-Sprinkling Festival, but also adds modern elements. It is considered the most distinctive ethnic traditional festival in Splendid China at summer season.

First held in 1996, Splendid China • China Folk Culture Village Water-Sprinkling Festival has been held for 15 times. The highlight and theme are different every year. During the Splendid China festival, clowns and beautiful girls lead the team, all tourists follow them splashing water to each other. Bu arada, there are various wonderful activities and performance.
