Introducing Mount Yuelu
The name Yuelu Mountain is related to a famous line from the book” Story of Nanyue” written by Liu Song of the Southern and Northern Dynasties (420 AD-589 AD). The line reads eight hundred square meters around Nanyue, the head is Huiyan and the foot is Yuelu. And the mountain was ever since called Changsha Yuelu Mountain.

What to expect at Mount Yuelu

As an extended part of the mysterious Mount Hengshan range, Changsha Yuelu Mountain covers a total area of 8 square kilometers with its highest peak 297 meters above sea level. There are also many peaks with exuberant trees and reclusive and precipitous mountain streams.

Apart from the beautiful natural sceneries, Changsha Yuelu Mountain is also dotted with lots of famous places and ancient relics since Western Han Dynasty(206 BC-25 AD), such as Love Enjoying Pavilion, Lushan Temple, Wangxiang Pavilion, Lushan Temple Stele of Liyong (678 AD-747 AD) in Tang Dynasty, and the Monument to Emperor Yu carved in Song Dynasty, إلخ. Among the evergreen pines and cypresses, also lie Huangxing’s Tomb which is under state protection, and the Tombs of Cai E and Chen Tianhua, who were both outstanding revolutionists.　

How to get to Mount Yuelu

By Metro
• خذ خط المترو 2 to Yingwanzhen Station. Then walk to the scenic area.
• خذ خط المترو 4 to Hunan Daxue Station. Then walk to the scenic area.

بالأتوبيس
• استقل الحافلة رقم. 6, 12, 18, 63, 303, 309, 312, 314, 315, 325, 902, 903 أو 908 and get off at Yingwanzhen Station.

Additional travel advice on Mount Yuelu
• Cable car is available in the scenic area. Many visitors choose to enter from south gate and hike the mountain and then take cable car down and exit from the east gate.
• Please wear comfortable hiking shoes.
• For the safety, it is not suggested to take a cruise boat without an operating license in the scenic area.
