Begin your day at the magnificent Chen Clan Ancestral Hall, a century-old architectural masterpiece that once served as an ancestral shrine and academy for 72 Chen families. This sprawling complex, adorned with exquisite wood carvings, الخزف, and other art forms, offers a captivating glimpse into Guangdong’s rich cultural heritage. Admire the Five Rams Sculpture, the emblem of Guangzhou at the top of Yuexiu Hill inside Yuexiu Park. Continue with a visit to Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, honoring the “Father of Modern China.” Perform salat prayer at Huaisheng Mosque, China’s oldest mosque built 1,300 years ago. Conclude the day at the Tomb of Sa’ad ibn Abi Waqqas, a revered Islamic figure and the earliest propagator of Islam in China.
