Introducing Harbin Ice & Snow World
During winter, Harbin is a beautiful snow city. With this natural advantage, Harbin Ice and Snow World presents the beauty of snowy city Harbin. Established in 1999, Harbin Ice and Snow World is by far the largest ice and snow art exhibition and amusement park in the world, conveying the unique charm of both ice and snow culture and tourism. It usually opens in late December or early January and lasts around three months, along with the Harbin International Ice and Snow Sculpture Festival.

What to expect at Harbin Ice & Snow World
The ice carvings here are regarded some of the world’s finest examples of frozen art, where visitors are able to admire some of the largest and most majestic ice-sculpted masterpieces to be found anywhere. Harbin Ice and Snow World is also a center for various forms of entertainment, such as ice rock-climbing, skating, skiing, sliding, snow fights, ice golfing and ice archery. Special performances based on the festival’s theme are put on throughout the event.
Ice and Snow World is held in every December with a variety of themes. In 2010, Ice and Snow Amusement World’s theme is Fairy Tale Kingdom in the Ice and Snow Amusement World which attracts twice the number of tourists than before. Other themes of the Ice and Snow Amusement World including Tracks In The Snowy Forest, Wonderful Cartoon in Snowy World and so on.

• Take bus No. 29, 42, 43, 47, 80, 119, 125, 126, 127, 211, 212, 213, 215, 216, 219, 223, 225, 226, 551, 552, Tourist Line 1 or 4 and get off at Bingxue Dashijie Station.
