Day 1 Arrive Xiamen

Welcome to Xiamen, Fujian Province’s vibrant coastal jewel known for its picturesque seaside views, relaxed pace of life, and rich cultural heritage. Nestled along China’s southeastern coast, this charming port city seamlessly blends modern urban sophistication with subtropical natural beauty and historical grandeur. Upon arrival at the airport/train station, your friendly tour guide will greet you and whisk you away in a private vehicle to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of your day at leisure.

Meals Included: Dinner at a halal restaurant
Accommodation: Holiday Inn Express Xiamen City Center or similar

Day 2 Xiamen |  Tianluokeng Tulou Cluster, Yuchang Building, Taxia Village

Embark on a captivating day trip from Xiamen to discover the unique and historic Tulou villages of Fujian Province. After a comfortable 2.5 to 3-hour drive from Xiamen to Nanjing County, arrive at the Tianluokeng Tulou Cluster, a UNESCO World Heritage site. This remarkable cluster features one square building, three circular buildings, and one oval building, earning its famous nickname “Four Dishes and One Soup.” Continue your journey to Yuchang Building, one of the oldest and largest round tulous in Fujian, dating back to around 1368. Admire its distinctive architecture, including the tilted pillars that lend it a charmingly “rickety” appearance. Finally, explore Taxia Village, a picturesque Hakka settlement renowned for its well-preserved traditional buildings and peaceful ambiance.

Please note that halal-certified restaurant meals are not available for lunch. For your convenience, lunch will be a packed, halal self-heating rice meal accompanied by fresh fruit and mineral water. 

Day 3 Depart Xiamen
