Day 2 Transfer to Dali, Dali Old Town

  • Due to the high altitude of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain (5,596 meters), there's a risk of altitude sickness. Symptoms include headache, nausea, dizziness, and fatigue. If you experience any of these, it's crucial to descend immediately.
  • Altitude sickness can affect anyone, regardless of fitness level. As a precaution, consider carrying a portable oxygen canister, available at local supermarkets or the cable car station.
  • Equip with warm clothing and heavy-duty gloves to brave the icy conditions at high altitudes.
