Welcome to Harbin, China’s “Ice City,” where winter transforms the urban landscape into a dazzling wonderland of ice and snow! Harbin also boasts a rich historical tapestry; its streets, imbued with Russian architectural elegance, have earned it the moniker “Oriental Moscow”. Upon arrival at the airport, your local guide will greet you and whisk you away in an air-conditioned bus to your hotel.

Day 2 Explore Harbin

Begin your frosty adventure with a stop at a Cold Weather Gear Store and gear up with cozy essentials to brave Harbin’s legendary chill. Next, stroll along the bustling Central Street, a historic promenade lined with European-style buildings, shops, and bakeries offering warm Russian pastries. Then, marvel at the striking beauty of Saint Sophia Cathedral, a majestic relic of the city’s Russian heritage. After salat at a mosque, wander through the serene paths of Stalin Park and visit the Flood Control Memorial Tower, a symbol of resilience overlooking the Songhua River, followed by a walk across the Songhua River Railway Bridge, where panoramic views stretch across the frozen expanse. The final stop is one for the photo albums: The Giant Snowman, a towering, cheerful icon of Harbin’s winter festivities.

Day 3 Transfer to Yabuli, Yabuli Ski Resort

Get ready to hit the slopes! Your winter adventure continues as you depart from Harbin this morning for a scenic transfer to Yabuli Ski Resort (about 240km, approx. 3.5 hours). Upon arrival and check-in at your cozy hotel after lunch. The afternoon is then yours to embrace the exhilaration of the snow! At the renowned New Sports Committee Ski Resort, you’ll have the option to engage in a variety of thrilling ski activities. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a first-time skier, the ski resort boasts diverse slopes and facilities to suit all levels. Beyond skiing, you might also find opportunities for snowboarding, snow tubing, and snowmobiling. Get ready for an afternoon of unforgettable snow fun!

Day 4 Transfer to China Snow Town, Explore China Snow Town, Transfer to Mudanjiang

Today, prepare to step into a real-life winter wonderland as we embark on a journey to China Snow Town (about 96km, approx. 1.5 hours), famous for its incredibly deep and uniquely shaped snowdrifts that transform houses into “snow mushrooms” and other whimsical forms. Upon arrival, step into the enchanting world of Xueyun Street, where snow-covered rooftops and cozy wooden houses evoke the charm of an alpine village straight out of a fairytale. Capture the moment with a photo in front of the iconic giant stone engraved with the words “China’s Snow Town”. Swing by the local post office and get a postcard stamped with the village’s special seal. Ascend to the Bāngchuí Mountain observation deck, offering sweeping views of the crystalline landscape. Continue your journey with a peaceful drive to the city of Mudanjiang, approx. 140 kilometers away (around 3 hours).

Day 5 Transfer to Jilin, Explore Jilin

Embark on a scenic 4-hour drive (approximately 360 kilometers) to Jilin, a city rich in Manchu culture and beautiful riverside scenery. After salat at Jilin Mosque, delve into the vibrant heritage of northeastern China at the Manchu Museum, where exhibits bring the customs, dress, and legacy of the Manchu people to life through immersive displays and storytelling. Next, ascend to Beishan Park, a lush mountain escape within the city. Wander its winding paths and discover sweeping vistas from elevated viewpoints that reveal stunning panoramas of Jilin below. As evening falls, witness Jilin’s urban charm come alive on Songjiang Middle Road, where shimmering lights reflect off the snow-lined avenues and the city buzzes with nighttime energy.

Next, transfer to Changchun, a journey of approximately 1.5 hours (120km). After salat at Changchun Mosque, embark on a bus tour of the Eight Departments of Manchukuo (outside view). These grand, historic buildings, once the administrative heart of the puppet state, showcase a fascinating blend of Chinese and Japanese architectural styles. Then, stroll along the Culture Square of Changchun, one of the city’s largest open spaces, often bustling with local life and featuring prominent landmarks. Day 7 Transfer to Harbin, Explore Harbin

Wander its cobbled lanes lined with quaint facades, galleries, and cozy cafés. Then, prepare to be dazzled by the world-famous Harbin Ice and Snow World. Day 8 Explore Harbin, Depart Harbin
