Day 1 Arrival in Guilin, Elephant Trunk Hill, Jingjiang Prince’s Mansion, Solidary Beauty Peak
Destination: Guilin

Your AirAsia flight will arrive at Guilin Airport at 11:20. You will be greeted by IslamiChina Travel professional driver. Visit Elephant Trunk Hill in the afternoon. The Elephant Trunk Hill is the symbol of Guilin. It gets its name because it looks like a huge elephant that dig its trunk into the river. Later, visit Jingjiang Prince’s Mansion later. Enclosed by an imposing wall with huge gates, Jingjiang Prince’s City was the official residence of Prince Jingjiang of Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), It is a miniature of the Forbidden City in Beijing. Afterwards visit Solitary Beauty Peak. Towering from the ground with an elevation of 216 meters, this peak is reputed as Sky-Supporting Pillar in South China.
Day 2 Li River Cruise, Yangshuo West Street, Reed Flute Cave

After breakfast at hotel, you will be transferred to the pier to board the Li River Cruise ship. Cruising the 83-kilometer-long waterway from Guilin to Yangshuo is like traveling along a traditional Chinese painting. The landscape is decorated with startling hills, steep cliffs, fantastic caves and farming villages, and is lined with bamboo. In a Chinese poem it is written: “The river is a green silk ribbon, and the hills are jade hairpins”. Upon arrival at Yangshuo you will walk along the famous West Street. Back to Guilin in the afternoon you will visit Reed Flute Cave. The Reed Flute Cave got its name from the verdant reeds growing outside it, with which people make flutes. Inside this water-eroded cave is a spectacular world of various stalactites, stone pillars and rock formations formed by carbonate deposition. Illuminated by colored lighting, the fantastic spectacle is found in many variations along this 240-meter-long cave.
Day 3 Dragon’s Backbone Rice Terraces, Zhuang Ethnic Village

After breakfast at hotel, you will be transferred to Dragon’s Backbone Rice Terraces (2 hours & 30 minutes). Upon arrival, visit the Zhuang minority village which is located high up in the mountains surrounded by spectacular Dragon’s Backbone Rice Terraces with about 80 Zhuang ethnic households. This adorable village is stacked up in layers along the hillside. Stone paths and staircases twist in and out of buildings. Water flows everywhere in streams, rivulets, waterfalls, and channeled in bamboo pipes. Visit Dragon’s Backbone Rice Terraces in the afternoon. Dragon’s Backbone Rice Terraces were first started during the Yuan dynasty 900 hundred years ago and mostly built during the Ming Dynasty about 500 years ago. It got the name due to the fact that the rice terraces look just like dragon’s scales, while the mountain’s summit resembles the backbone. Standing on the top of the mountain you can see the dragon’s backbone twisting off into the distance. The terraced fields are built along the slope winding from the riverside up to the mountain top, between 600 to 800 metres (2,000 to 2,600 ft) above sea level. A coiling terrace line that starts from the mountain foot up to the mountain top divides the mountain into layers of water in spring, layers of green rice shoots in summer, layers of rice in fall, and layers of frost in winter.
Day 4 Yao Mountain, Yaoshan Tea Plantation, Chongshan Mosque, Fubo Hill, Seven Star Park, Two Rivers & Four Lakes

After breakfast at hotel, climb Yaoshan Mountain with round-trip chairlift. Yaoshan Mountain is 903.3 meters above sea level and is the highest mountain in Guilin. You will have a beautiful view of rocks, flowers and brooks during the chairlift ride. Afterwards, you will experience tea-leaf picking at Yaoshan Tea Plantation which offers you a good chance to learn the Chinese tea culture. You will have an unique experience to pick tea-leaf, learn the tea-making process, and also make a cup of tea on your own. Perform Salat at Chongshan Mosque. Then, climb Fubo Hill. Named after General Fubo of the Han dynasty, this 213 meter high Fubo Hill stands overlooking Guilin city. It’s half submerged yet still standing elegantly over the river. Visit Seven Star Park. Within the park, the mountains are of great beauty, the waters are clean, the stone peaks are precipitous, and the caves are deep. Walk along Two Rivers & Four Lakes Scenic Area. These lakes and rivers are linked up and formed Guilin’s central round-the-city water system
Day 5 Departure from Guilin
