Day 2 Little Wild Goose Pagoda, Xian Museum, Great Mosque, Muslim Quarter

Morning visit to the 1300 year old Tang Dynasty constructed Small Wild Goose Pagoda, a perfect example of the multi-eaved square brick pagodas built in ancient China. Then you will visit Xian Museum which boasts nearly 130,000 relics that all relate to the history of Ancient China and Xian specifically. Visit the Muslim Quarter after lunch and Salat at Xian Great Mosque. The Muslim Quarter of Xian which covers several blocks with an estimated 60,000 Muslims in the region. There are about seven ancient mosques in the area, among which the Great Mosque built in 742 is most famous and popular among all. Experience a seemingly endless labyrinth of street food, restaurants and bustling local life at Xian’s Muslim Quarter.
Day 3 Terracotta Warriors & Reproduction Factory, Emperor Qin’s Mausoleum, Great Tang All Day Mall

Morning visit to the Terracotta Warriors and Horses and its reproduction factory. Considered one of the foremost archaeological discoveries of the 20th century, the 2,000-year-old Terracotta Army was discovered by accident in 1974 by local farmers digging a well. The 8,000-plus life-sized figures are arranged in vaults to guard the tomb of Qin Shihuang, the first emperor of China, a major architect of the Great Wall and unifier of China. Then you will visit the Mausoleum of Emperor Qin Shihuang which was constructed over 38 years, from 246 to 208 BC, and is situated underneath a 76-meter-tall tomb mound shaped like a truncated pyramid. Followed by a walk at the Great Tang All Day Mall, which is the largest and longest pedestrian street of tourist landscape and cultural mall in Asia.
Day 4 Day Trip to Mount Huashan

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Mount Huashan for an two hour ride by a comfortable air-conditioned private vehicle. Mount Huashan has long been regarded as the most precipitous mountain in China, edged with sheer granite rock face, rugged cliffs and deep valleys. Its pathway is also one of the most treacherous, winding its way two thousand feet high to a narrow ledge on the rock face. Mount Huashan is one of the five Taoist sacred mountains of China. It is a place steeped in legend, where the very rocks are engraved with tales and poems from its long history; where gods are said to have performed magic, where emperors have worshiped and sacrificed; and where forefathers of Taoism have set down their religious legacies. Mount Huashan is both naturally and culturally a vital national inheritance to China and the world. Upon arrival, you will take the cable car to approach the North Peak at an elevation of about 1,614 meters (5,298 feet). You will hike southward from the North Peak and pass through the Ear-Touching Cliff and Canglongling (Black Dragon Ridge) – one of the most famous steep paths on Mt. Huashan. If you are energetic enough, you may also consider hiking up to East Peak, South Peak or West Peak. Then you will return to the North Peak to get down the mountain by cable car.
Day 5 Xian City Wall, Daming Palace National Heritage Park, Transfer to Xian Airport

Morning visit to the Xian City Wall. As one of the oldest, largest and best preserved Chinese city walls, Xian City Wall was built under the rule of the Hongwu Emperor Zhu Yuanzhang as a military defense system. Next, you will visit Daming Palace National Heritage Park was built on the site of the Daming Palace in the Tang Dynasty, located in its capital Chang’an. The Daming Palace served as the imperial residence of the Tang emperors for more than 220 years. Today, it is designated as a national heritage site of China, and part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site “Silk Roads: the Routes Network of Chang’an-Tianshan Corridor”.
